The theme for the 2015 CYAYA Revival is The S.A.G.A. Continues... S.A.G.A standing for Seeking A Generation's Awakening.
Revival is not a one-time event but an opportunity to be continually reminded of the need to place God first in our lives. As we seek to make living for the God our life's priority we are lead through The Call To Worship, The Encounter, The Battle, and The Overflow. Columbus needs to experience the presence of God and we need to share the glory of God... Join us!!
The leading scripture is Revelations 3:20 - Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
\\WHAT TO EXPECT
CYAYA Revival gatherings combine prayer, worship through the arts, and the teaching of the Word of God. No need to dress a certain way! We just gather as worshippers uniting to walk in our authority in the name of Jesus.
\\HISTORY
The Youth & Young Adult Revival was an annual gathering held since 2001 at the New Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio. In 2013, through prayer, fasting, and desiring to advance God's kingdom, the decision was made to transition into a citywide movement and intiative. The hope was that unity in the Body not only have an impact during revival week but throughout the year. During the week of July 28-31, 2013 the 1st Annual Columbus Citywide Youth and Young Adult Revival: City On Our Knees was held with the collaboration of five churches.
